Rooted in prayer and grounded in love, we host citywide prayer walks where Christians boldly walk the streets, declaring that God is not only welcome—but belongs—in our cities, our schools, our families, and our daily lives. What began as a simple yet powerful response to a city questioning God’s place has grown into a spiritual call to action, reminding people everywhere that faith has a place in the public square.
Our prayer walks are not protests—they’re peaceful, worship-filled gatherings focused on interceding for our leaders, our neighbors, and the next generation. As we walk, we carry signs that say “God Belongs In My City,” not to argue but to invite others into the conversation of hope and transformation. These events are open to everyone who believes in the power of prayer and wants to see revival in their hometown.

Inception of a Vision
GBIMC was founded with a vision to unite the community through faith and prayer. Our journey began with a small group of dedicated individuals committed to making a difference.

We organized our inaugural prayer walk, bringing together people from various denominations to pray for the city and its residents, marking the start of our annual tradition.
